I’d like to thank our customers, partners, and congratulate the whole Ataccama team – we have just been positioned as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Solutions! Here are a few thoughts on how we got there, the upward spiral evolution of Data Quality Management and what I believe is coming.

“We are very thankful to the growing number of organizations around the globe, placing their trust in us and our products. I would personally also like to thank every team and department at Ataccama for their dedication to what we are building together. Lastly, I want to thank our partners for helping us deliver maximum value to our customers.
It’s an honor to be recognized by a leading analyst firm, but what I am really happy about is how far the data management market has evolved, and that Ataccama is contributing to that progress. We have started Ataccama as a data quality company, and we still believe that data quality (and quality data) is the cornerstone of any organization’s data strategy and all data-related activities. This is validated by the growing investment our clients are making into us, and into data quality in general.
Our own research shows that 78% of organizations have become more reliant on data between 2019 and 2020. At the same time, 75% of executives and knowledge workers continue to struggle with data quality on a regular basis. That is why, over the past decade, data quality has evolved from a narrow discipline focusing on monitoring, data cleansing and standardization into a holistic business concept on the agenda of C-level executives.
